Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 large SuperValu cauliflower, divided into florets
- 70g SuperValu butter
- For the cheesy mustard sauce:600ml SuperValu milk
- 30g SuperValu butter
- 30g SuperValu plain flour100ml SuperValu fresh cream
- 1 tbsp SuperValu Cook’s Ingredients mustard
- 250g mature SuperValu cheddar cheese freshly grated
- 1 pinch nutmeg, freshly grated
To Cook:
- Pop the cauliflower florets in a saucepan of boiling water for five minutes, and then drain.
- While the cauliflower is cooking, make the sauce. Melt the butter in a saucepan and once melted whisk in the flour and cook on a low heat for two or three minutes. Then pour in the milk slowly and whisk as you do (make sure not to add all the milk in at once as this may cause the sauce to be lumpy). Leave to simmer for five minutes, whisking every minute.
- Whisk in the cream, cheese and mustard, followed by the nutmeg.
- Place the cauliflower florets in a buttered oven-proof dish. Cover with the cheesy mustard sauce and transfer to a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is golden in colour.
