Christmas Bomb!

This desert is dreamy and delicious and best of all, it’s very simple to prepare.

Serves 6 - 8
Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 325g mixed fruit berries (red currants, blackberries, raspberries, loganberries)
  • 325ml SuperValu Cream, whipped
  • 8 SuperValu Meringues, crushed
  • 50g SuperValu Supreme Milk Chocolate

Method

  1. Purée the fruit in a blender (reserving a few to garnish) before transferring to a large bowl
  2. Fold in the cream with the fruits followed by the crushed meringues
  3. Grate the chocolate into the bowl and mix
  4. Tranfer to a large serving bowl or individual glasses and garnish with the reserved fruit

Clodagh’s Top Tip:

For an extra treat I serve shortcake biscuits with this dessert.

Wine Recommendation:

This festive dessert would be enjoyed with a dessert wine like Nugan KLN Semillon or a glass of sparkling either Champagne or Grifón Italian Prosecco
