Creamy Fennel, Parmesan and Fish Gratin

Serves 4 people

Preparation time: 10 minutes, Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 fillets of SuperValu sea bass or another round fish such as turbot, plaice or brill
  • 2fennel bulbs, thinly sliced
  • 200ml SuperValu cream
  • 100g SuperValu Supreme Parmesan, freshly grated
  • 50g SuperValu butter
  • SuperValu Cooks Ingredients sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

  1. Grease an ovenproof serving dish with butter
  2. Layer the thinly sliced fennel on the bottom of the dish
  3. Lay the sea bass on top of the fennel, season with salt and pepper
  4. Mix the cream and parmesan together and pour over the fish
  5. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180ºC for 20 minutes, then pop under amedium grill for 2-3 minutes until golden on top
  6. Serve with a big green salad
