Creamy Fennel, Parmesan and Fish Gratin
Serves 4 people
Preparation time: 10 minutes, Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 fillets of SuperValu sea bass or another round fish such as turbot, plaice or brill
- 2fennel bulbs, thinly sliced
- 200ml SuperValu cream
- 100g SuperValu Supreme Parmesan, freshly grated
- 50g SuperValu butter
- SuperValu Cooks Ingredients sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method:
- Grease an ovenproof serving dish with butter
- Layer the thinly sliced fennel on the bottom of the dish
- Lay the sea bass on top of the fennel, season with salt and pepper
- Mix the cream and parmesan together and pour over the fish
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180ºC for 20 minutes, then pop under amedium grill for 2-3 minutes until golden on top
- Serve with a big green salad
