Honey Roasted Sesame Parsnips

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 SuperValu parsnips, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 3 tbsp SuperValu clear honey
  • 50g SuperValu butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp SuperValu Cook’s Ingredients soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps sesame seeds
  • SuperValu Supreme olive oil
  • SuperValu Cook’s Ingredients salt and freshly ground pepper

To Cook:

  1. Pop the parsnips into a saucepan of boiling water for five minutes, and then drain. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Into the bowl add the soy sauce, sesame seeds, honey, butter, drizzle of olive oil and season with salt and  pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place the dressed parsnips into a roasting tray and then straight into a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
