Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 500g SuperValu carrots, cut into chunks
- 500g SuperValu swede, cut into chunks
- 100ml SuperValu fresh cream
- SuperValu Cooks’ Ingredients salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
To Cook:
- Place the carrots and swede in a large saucepan of salted water. Bring to the boil, then cover and simmer briskly for 25 minutes until soft and then drain and return to the saucepan.
- Mash the vegetables until you have a smooth consistency.
- Warm the cream gently and pour over the vegetables, followed by the nutmeg and season with salt and pepper.
