Mixed Berry, Honey & Tarragon Smoothie

These silky smooth smoothies are a great way of increasing your daily fruit intake. Here I use the frozen berries found in SuperValu and adjust the honey to make it sweeter to taste….Enjoy!

Makes 2 portions
Preparation time: 5 - 10 minutes,

Ingredients:

  • 8oz frozen berries
  • 200ml yoghurt
  • 150ml skimmed milk
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of fresh tarragon leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Method: 

  1. Simply pop these ingredients in the food processor jug or smoothie maker and whiz to achieve the required texture!
  2. Depending on the fruit added you may wish to increase of decrease the amount of honey and adjust the milk to create the texture you require
  3. Remember dried herbs are no substitute in this recipe!

Phelim's Top Tip:

This is also a great way to increase fruit intake for kids – eating fruit is much more fun in a smoothie!
