These silky smooth smoothies are a great way of increasing your daily fruit intake. Here I use the frozen berries found in SuperValu and adjust the honey to make it sweeter to taste….Enjoy!
Makes 2 portions
Preparation time: 5 - 10 minutes,
Ingredients:
- 8oz frozen berries
- 200ml yoghurt
- 150ml skimmed milk
- 2 heaped tablespoons of fresh tarragon leaves
- 2 tablespoons of honey
Method:
- Simply pop these ingredients in the food processor jug or smoothie maker and whiz to achieve the required texture!
- Depending on the fruit added you may wish to increase of decrease the amount of honey and adjust the milk to create the texture you require
- Remember dried herbs are no substitute in this recipe!
Phelim's Top Tip:
This is also a great way to increase fruit intake for kids – eating fruit is much more fun in a smoothie!
